Aqua-Pure™ AP917HD-S Sanitary Quick-Change Whole House Water Filter
The Aqua-Pure™ AP917HD-S is a quick change replacement cartridge designed specifically for use with the AP904 system. This multi-purpose, whole house filter reduces sediment as small as 5-microns, removes chlorine taste and odor, and helps prevent hard water scale formation.
At 10 GPM average flow rate, this replacement cartridge has an approximate one-year cartridge life, dependent upon water quality conditions, which ensures you are never short on clean, odorless water.
This cartridge includes both an activated carbon block and includes a scale inhibition media to help reduce the potential build-up of hard water scale in water, protecting your heaters, pipes, and water using appliances.
The filter's capacity is rather impressive at 100,000 gallon.
