The HF45-S-SR is a carbonless sediment reduction water filter designed to be used as an alternative for multi-equipment filtration systems or commercial ice machine systems with biofilm issues when sediment and particulate levels are much higher than the system's default sediment filters can handle. Under high sediment conditions, default filters may get clogged earlier than the expected filter's lifespan.
The filter also extends equipment life by helping to prevent hard water scale buildup on evaporator plates or hot beverage heating elements.
The replacement head for the HF45-S-SR is the versatile, multipurpose VH3-NPT Valve-In Replacement Head or the VH3-NPT Valve-In Replacement Head With Gauge.
